Marianne Boruch, the noted American Poet and
visiting Fulbright Professor to Edinburgh University is visiting Dundee University on 16
May 2012. She and Will Dunlap, an American author and
librettist (who happens to be her son) have kindly agreed to give readings of
their work in Dundee University's Dalhousie Building, Room
2G14. Please arrive at 5pm for a 5.15pm start. The event is free and will last
about an hour.
Marianne’s current
work Cadaver, Speak addresses the subject of dissection. Will is currently finishing a novel
concerning August McLeod, a young mid-19th century doctor living in a small
Indiana town on what was then the frontier. This event may be of interest to health professionals as well as lovers of poetry and writing.
