Poetry reading & Open Mic in Perth - Friday 26th November

You are invited to a poetry evening which takes place on Friday 26th November as part of Perth's Lightnight 2010 celebrations. The reading will run from 7pm - 9pm (finished in time for the fireworks display at 9.30!), with four readers followed by an Open Mic, so bring a poem to read, or a favourite poem.

The reading will take place at the Button Hill Tea Room, 10 Charlotte Street, Perth, and entry is free!

Reading at this event will be:

Patricia Ace - born in Cleethorpes and based in Crieff, Patricia was a
prize-winner in the 2008 MsLexia Poetry Competition and her pamphlet
collection, First Blood, was published by Happenstance Press in 2006

Andy Jackson - from Lancashire via North-East Fife, Andy's first collection,
The Assassination Museum, was published in 2010 to great acclaim

Kona Macphee - Australian-born and now based in Crieff, Kona is the author
of two Bloodaxe collections (Tails, 2004 and this year's Perfect Blue) and
is also a composer and a blogger

Judith Taylor - based in Aberdeen but originally from Coupar Angus, Judith
appeared at StAnza  in 2009 and her second pamphlet collection, Local
Colour, was published by Calder Wood Press in 2010
