Dundee poet Cathy Whitfield launches 'Dark Side Of The Moon'

Dundee poet Cathy Whitfield will launch her debut collection 'Dark Side Of The Moon' on Tuesday 16th November in the Baxter Room 1.36 at Dundee University. The event will start at 7.45pm with a drinks reception to follow. All are welcome to attend - please contact Cathy at whitfieldcathy@gmail.com if you intend to come along.

Cathy has been writing on the Dundee scene for many years, and it's great to see her finally with a full collection at last. In 'Dark Side Of The Moon' she covers topics as diverse as a Ben Macdui ghost, Pictish ancestors, a Dundee weathervane and the inheritance pattern of comb shape in chickens.

Dark Side Of The Moon will be published by WomenWords Books, priced £5.99. Please contact Cathy if you can't make the launch but would like a copy.
